Motto – “ If it was easy, everybody would be doing it… “
Adam Hobill lives and breathes the building industry. From a young age he explored building projects being constructed by his family’s small building company. It was a natural progression for Adam to forge a career in the industry, and he is now a sought-after, national award- winning building designer.
There is nothing he enjoys more than witnessing the enjoyment his clients get as they begin a new chapter of their lives in their new or extended home. He has a thorough understanding of the residential building industry that has been honed through the completion of over 500 projects, including building two of his own homes.
Adam is a multi-award winning designer with the Master Builders Association, the Housing Industry Association and Building Designers Australia. He has also had several homes featured in Australian House & Garden Home Beautiful magazines, and has contributed to Inside Out magazine.
With 20 years of industry experience Adam has seen it all – the best and worst the industry can offer. He has introduced hundreds of clients to builders and has developed a deep understanding of the key elements that are important to homeowners when navigating the building process.
Adam believes that the building process needn’t be as scary and stressful as it is often portrayed. He is passionate about homes being crafted to suit their inhabitants rather than being mass-produced, and about the idea that a building project should be balanced to achieve a result where lifestyle is enhanced, family relationships are nurtured and the costs are managed.
Adam is also the founding director of buildingquote.com.au , a venture he started trialing in 2011 to fill the void of crucial, yet missing information that is vital to the successful completion of building projects, by creating a level playing field for both clients and builders.
Known for his ability to understand and work with a client brief and for asking the question within the question, Adam is considered to be a leading design professional with a unique ability to deliver so much more than just design services.
His clients regularly speak of his willingness to engage in and enhance their ideas, his insightful design, his generosity of time and his vast industry knowledge, including an ability to help clients prepare for the building process.
Adam is now excited to be sharing his experience and his unique and proven methods through writing and speaking engagements throughout Australia.
